Will I have to relive everything I've ever done — especially the things I'm most ashamed of?

“I was shown this in-depth view of my life as if it were a movie. I was shown parts of my life that I wasn't proud of, parts of my life where I did wrong, died, full of bitterness and regret.”0:11

“And at the same time, on a different screen, I saw my own life, and I saw the things that I was most ashamed of, and the mistakes that I had made in my life.”28:39

“Following this, I saw my entire life in great detail, and experienced feelings through it of satisfaction, shame, repentance, following on each other without leaving me time to think.”6:03

“Now, I'm going to give you the feelings I had when I looked to the right, that this figure had just saw and knew everything that I had just seen. And I don't know if it was shame or guilt, but I knew at particular points during the life review, that I, now I call it, or no, that there were times I wanted to look away, and I couldn't. It's like I was being forced to look at those times.”7:57

“And when that, when I came out of that, then I got this life review of myself and the mistakes that I had made in my life, the things that I was most shameful about.”21:42

“And then something happened. It was something that I wasn't very proud of. In a lot of ways, I had a review of my life, and I've heard this story from a lot of other people that they've had life reviews, and I totally understand what they went through because you don't just see it on a video screen. You don't just see it in your head. What you do is you live it. You live every emotion that happened from the day that you were born until I was 28 years old.”13:09

“We've started to discuss my, my, my sins in depth. You know, we've looked at my good things, my whole life. It was, it was a review of everything that I have done in my life, and all these beings were there, and they got to see it. So everybody in heaven was was able to see him, I think. But yet I wasn't embarrassed about them seeing it. I, I knew already that they had all seen everything that I was doing anyway.”15:12

“And then I was giving a life review of my own life, the things that I was most ashamed of, and the mistakes that I have made.”25:55

“However reluctantly, to take a look and, as a result, experienced a very vivid life recall. It was both painful and exquisitely beautiful. It was like viewing a film, filled with precise detail. Every single thought, word, deed, decision, and action was brought forth and re-experienced and re-examined. It was self-evaluation with total transparency and honesty. Throughout, I was never judged by any of these divine beings. They simply held me in love, with complete compassion and acceptance.”9:50

“What that bliss was, it was driven through my life review because as I started to get all of these trials and tribulations from my life, I didn't feel shame anymore. I didn't have regret anymore. I didn't have hatred or animosity or jealousy towards anybody else, even the people who did me harm, because now I understood things.”24:37

“And I would start to see, uh, scenes and I would have a life review, and I would be able to see, uh, all the conversations I've had, all the like people that I've trusted or I didn't trust, or people that I broke trust with, or promises, or being a liar and and and over promising and under delivering. Like, statements to to people who have helped me and been there out of the kindness of their heart, and how I was a user, and, uh, you know, all the things and the flaws.”28:11

“And I had to go in and watch my life review. I didn't know what was going to be happening, and I remember thinking, "Oh my God, so you have to feel everything again? You have to hear everything again? Not only what you were thinking, but what the other people were thinking and what they were feeling at all times." There's not a moment of your life that is missed, not a moment of your life. So that was, that was huge.”10:05

“And then something happened. It was something that I wasn't very proud of in a lot of ways. I had a review of my life, and I've heard this story from a lot of other people that they've had life reviews, and I totally understand what they went through because you don't just see it on a video screen. You don't just see it in your head. What you do is you live it; you live every emotion that happened from the day that you were born until I was 28 years old.”4:11

“There's things that I learned in my life review that came next that were very disturbing, at least for me. You go through your life's review, basically, and it's like this: it's not a judgment. You're your own critic. You re-experience things that you've done to other people.”5:36

“And then I saw a review of my own life and the things that I was most shameful of and the mistakes in my life, and I thought the same of myself. I thought, how could I have ever judged myself so harshly for what I have done?”30:13

“So that's who I was and who I am. And then, what really happens is this: once you escape this body, you have this opportunity to have what's called the life review, and it's where you see your entire life pass before you in a 360-degree panorama, and you have missed nothing. You know everything that you have ever seen, and you watch it from a second-person point of view as though you were your own best friend. And then you literally become every person that you ever encounter, and you feel the direct results of your interaction between you and that person. Most of mine was experiencing pain and anguish and suffering and the brutality that the nature of my life had created. And some good things.”3:19
