The Story
Rob A. Gentile, a 56-year-old sales engineer and father of a special needs daughter, suffered a massive heart attack on January 26, 2016, caused by a blood clot. He flatlined for 20 minutes in the hospital. During this first NDE, his deceased brother-in-law Frosty appeared and told him to return and help his family. He also sensed the spirit of Dr. Patel's father urging her to keep resuscitating him. After waking from a coma, he needed a heart transplant and traveled to Chicago. While waiting with an experimental heart pump, his heart failed again, leading to a second NDE. He found himself in an empty blue space, viewing his dying body and a perfect version of himself.
