What happens to someone who dies by suicide — are they punished, or met with compassion?

“I was not prepared for the level of trauma or grief that I had around his suicide. Even though I had been working as a medium, I knew he had been met with light and love and compassion. Here's one of the most beautiful things that you find out from people who have had Indees. It doesn't matter how old you are, your gender, your religion, how you died, what you believed in. We are all met with love and compassion on the other side. And having had the experience of working as a medium for many years, I knew that this was his”19:20

“I always wondered where she went because, you know, you grew up in church, church teaches you that if you commit suicide, it's an act of murder, you go to hell. Well, it's not. It's not an act of murder. God, our Father, he's so compassionate. He's so, he doesn't judge us the way we judge each other. He knew she was going through deep depression, he knew her heart, and there she was in heaven.”23:27

“But those who met suicide, what's their, what's the common occurrence for that? The common occurrence for that is they don't easily transition back into unconditional love because they have a lot of guilt with them. That's true of people who commit suicide because they are in the overwhelm situation, they just can't deal with life. If they're committing suicide because it's a contract they did with their family and associates to let the family and associates have some type of an experience, then they generally go immediately into the light.”35:41

“Yeah, kind of like, what, what, what's your spiritual insight on what happens after a person commits suicide?”22:52

“You could think of any question and knew the answer immediately. I asked if suicide didn't send you to hell, and I instantly knew that you ended up with them the same way. Differences: the pain you feel when reviewing your life. If your loved ones suffered for the remainder of their life on Earth, you would have a harder time forgiving yourself.”16:36

“I also learned that when people commit suicide, it delays their spiritual growth. They need healing when they arrive on the other side. An angel or glowing being told me that in my NDE, due to the suicide of a friend of my son who lived with us, I had always wondered about suicide and whether the spirit of the deceased was healed. The incident had troubled me deeply. I was reassured by the belief that people who commit suicide are taken to a place like a hospital to heal.”8:17

“And it's, I would, you know, it's, I don't have enough time right now to go into it too much, but what he was, acted like a tuning fork to that area, and it was kind of like a gift to those who were there to be able to just feel what that was, and I could feel it, and it was peaceful, and it was a good thing. And, um, he explained to me that the people that were in this space had brought themselves to their own demise. And I, kind of understood this, almost like how we understand suicide, but it was, it was not necessarily how we might imagine, you know, someone went and consciously like took their life. A lot of these situations, as I understood, were things like, you know, someone was drunk driving, and they ended up dying, or someone mixed the wrong drugs and ended up dying, or someone took like a risk like, I'm going to jump over that cliff and see if I make it to the other side. Or, I mean, I don't, those aren't the examples, but I'm, it's, it was a little different than what I would have expected. And, um, but at the same time, I kind of understood it, almost like from their point of view, that it was a kind of suicide in a way.”24:00

“That, uh, when we die, even with suicide, we're met with love. There are lessons to be learned. You know, it's still a major no-no, but it's not like you're gonna burn in hell forever. Like I said, I've never heard that from a suicide attempt. I've talked to plenty. This has become like a sub-specialty of mine. Um, we are met by, often in my research, 75% of the people I've interviewed have been met by a deceased loved one, and they all look great, like in their late 20s, early 30s, like at the peak of their physicality.”52:07

“There are people listening who have lost a loved one to suicide, and they are worried that they're being punished.”21:50

“It was as if my complete peace with the idea of death helped will my body into giving up, not resisting the process. I was totally and utterly at peace and so pleased with this concept. I felt some kind of a floating feeling and started to see differently my body on the bed and my friend crying frantically. For a tiny moment, I felt sorry for my body as if an old friend who I had empathized with, but I was done with it and wanted to move on without it.”2:08

“This young man, two weeks after the fact, I found out he had committed suicide, and the family was very distraught. And so I meditated, and I asked for guidance, and I went into this realm. It's kind of a light gray realm, and I found this man, this young man walking, and he was crying, his head was down. And then I walked up to him, I put my arms around his shoulder, and I explained to him what he said. He had committed suicide, and he feels horrible and guilty and very sad. I invited Christ in, and he came in on my right side and put his hand on my shoulder and said, 'I'll take him from here.'”30:29

“And I'm wondering because you mentioned it, can you share a little bit more about souls who commit suicide, what happens to them?”25:59

“Do you have any experience from your NDE about what happens to people who die from suicide?”32:40

“So people often wonder what happens to the soul of people who choose suicide.”19:13

“And I would go and visit people that I loved, loved ones who were still here, and I would hang around them. And I couldn't talk to them, and I couldn't interact with them, but it was a very like a peaceful, calming feeling, and I felt very soothed and healed. And I realized later, when I read a book by Savannah Arienta, that I was actually in an aetheric layer of Planet Earth where people that have traumatic deaths go or maybe die from an overdose or suicide.”6:20
