Rod Chelberg: Healing with Christ

The Story
Dr. Rodney Chellberg was a seven-year-old boy in second grade. He had a severe kidney infection from strep and received penicillin in the hospital. This caused a fatal allergic reaction that made him suffocate. During the NDE, he panicked as lights dimmed and everything went black. A bright white light appeared, and he lifted out of his body. He felt peace and floated toward the light, which was a warm sphere with gold flecks. He sensed it was home and lost all fear. Just before entering, he was pulled back into his body after receiving rescue medicine. After the NDE, he gained three gifts: the ability to leave his body at will, see colors in people's hearts showing divine qualities, and meditate deeply to feel oneness. These abilities grew over time, guiding his medical career, helping patients, and leading to a life of spiritual service, including counseling and writing a memoir.
“and they felt the peace of God come into and it was like a like a misty uh light”
The account describes a childhood NDE during anaphylaxis with deep unconsciousness, but lacks any veridical perception claims of physical details, events, or conversations from an impossible vantage point. No verification of external perceptions is reported, rendering evidential strength minimal despite medical severity.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
