The Story
Rubens experienced a near-death experience (NDE) after being hit by a van when he was three years old. He recalled seeing himself from above and observing people around him. He later woke up with no serious injuries. After this NDE, he felt an increased ability to perceive other people's feelings. He had another experience at age twelve when he was pulled off a bicycle just before a crash. This event also left him with a sense of being watched over. After both experiences, Rubens no longer had insomnia and gained control over his dreams. He now feels more connected to others and believes in a greater consciousness beyond life.
