Why hasn't my deceased loved one visited me in a dream — are they unable to, or upset with me?

“But a visitation is, you're dreaming and the person is there and you want to talk to them and hug them, but every time you try to go towards them, they either back up or disappear, or you try to hug them and you can't, you can't get to them. You try to talk to them and they don't talk back.”28:59

“And then because our loved ones, they're trying, they want to make contact with their loved ones spiritually, and it doesn't have to be in a visitation dream.”25:54

“Three days before he died, his mother-in-law came and visited me in a dream. And we, but we were in a different place. We were in a plantation house. And because she wanted to have lunch there and she kept telling me how incredibly happy she was, how this was just the best place you can be. You could just close your eyes and you could just imagine any place you want to be. And I was like, 'Well, why are we here?' She goes, 'Well, I know you love old plantation houses, and we're having lunch here.' And there was like croissants and things, but she just kept saying, 'Don't worry, it is so wonderful here.' So I felt like that was a message from beyond. Of course, I'm still upset that he's gone. I'm still crying that he's gone, but again, I know that he was accepted with warmth and, and love.”14:29

“Your hand, and you know, everybody's like, nobody, really, I raise my hand, and then everybody raises, they don't know what my near-death experiencers so there, and, and they'll know me, it's not like I'm coming in cold, because I've been on television for 15 years in Maine, and so everybody kind of like knows me, so, so they trust me, and so they, so they all raise their hands, 50% of every congregation, at least 50% of every congregation, as upwards of 70% of every congregation, that high.”33:31

“My mother died last year, and the first dream I had with my mom, it was all of a sudden as she was she died in a chair at home. She was not expecting it. And the first dream my mom was in of mine, she was in a pitch black like room, hallway, and she was in a medical bed or a hospital bed, and she just kept saying, 'What's going on? She was crying and she said she was sick and didn't feel good.'”22:40

“sad and grieving them. They actually want us to celebrate them because they're the happiest that they have ever been in heaven. You know, my mom passed away last year and she came to me in a visitation dream and she said, "Alyssa, don't be so sad because I'm the happiest that I have ever been." And she was no longer in her old sick, tight, suffering body. She was young. And she was beaming. She was glowing. You know, she was so happy that when I woke up, that was the last time I cried that she died,”67:51

“And I thought it was a dream, but it wasn't a dream. She told me to prepare myself, get my affairs in order because I was going to die. And then she just disappeared. And I was so angry at myself because here was my mom. I had an opportunity to tell her how much I loved her and I missed her, and I failed to do that.”4:59

“And my mother gives me incredible afterlife communication too. And don't forget, she's the reason why I chose to come back from heaven, from my mother. So, you know, at first, it was an adjustment with my mom in heaven and me still here on earth. But then when my mother, she was giving me such beautiful messages from heaven, she came to me in a visitation dream and she said, "Don't be so sad, Alyssa, because I'm the happiest that I've ever been." And she was younger and healthy again and beaming, she was the happiest I've ever seen her, you know. So as soon as I woke up from that visitation dream, I stopped. I had been crying because it was a week, my mother had just died, you know, a week before, so I was like crying every day missing her. And as soon as she came to me in that visitation dream and said, "Don't be so sad, Alyssa, because I'm the happiest that I've ever been." That was it. No more tears, you know. And lately, she's been coming to me like several times a week, you know, in visitation dreams, which I plan on writing a follow-up book because I still have so much more that I didn't get to put in this one.”25:31

“come to me in my dreams and explained a lot of how it felt to be him in that relationship. And my mother, you know, when she died, she just was out of here. She was just she said only one thing to me after she had died. while she was dying, she did tell me, "My sister's here." And her sister had died five years before her. So, she was really happy. “So, dream visits are very common, and most people seem to really want to get a dream visit, and they are wonderful because you get to see your loved one again, you may get to talk to them, you may, uh, get to hug them again, and it's really wonderful.”13:30

“Well, uh, as you stated in your opening, uh, it was in 2000 after my mom died, she came to visit me, and what was known as a visitation or dream visit.”4:25

“Now I am an adult with children of my own. My deceased mother had come has come for a visit. She's just delivered an unexpected and unwelcome message to me about my father's impending death.”22:14

And I would have her say, 'I, I would say to her, 'My dream.' Or say, 'Oh, I didn't dream about nothing.' And when I stopped dreaming at some point, she liked, 'You don't dream anymore. What's wrong with you? You've changed.' And I said, 'I don't know, that's just that's just how it happened.'”6:37

“My mother came to me in a visitation dream on Valentine's Day because I went to sleep after midnight. So she came to me on Valentine's Day, and she said to me, 'Don't be so sad because I'm the happiest that I've ever been.'”38:37
