The Story
The person was facing heart surgery when they experienced a near-death experience (NDE) due to pneumonia complications. During the NDE, they first had an out-of-body experience, seeing their own body on a cart. They then entered a peaceful void, realizing they might be dead. Afterward, they felt trapped in a tube during an induced coma. They returned to the void, where they felt they had a new, fit body and flew towards a massive structure. They encountered a presence they identified as God, who communicated with them. They received a download of knowledge and returned to their body in the ICU. After the NDE, they gained a new perspective on life and death, feeling less afraid and more knowledgeable about consciousness.
