The Story
Steve Kang was a Buddhist college student from South Korea living in the U.S. He experienced a near-death event from a drug overdose on a powerful mix called the Death Ball, which led to a suicide attempt by cutting his stomach. This caused severe blood loss and a coma during eight hours of surgery. During the NDE, Steve left his body and sank into hell. He felt intense fear, pain, guilt, and abandonment. He saw demons ruling the place and knew he deserved to be there forever. Then, Jesus rescued him through prayers from Christians. Steve heard a voice say, 'No more drugs. I love you.' He woke in the ER and accepted Jesus as Savior. After the NDE, Steve converted to Christianity. His mother and brother also became Christians. He overcame trauma, received a vision of heaven, and now serves as a bi-vocational pastor planting churches in California.
