The Story
Rebecca Beastrom was a five-year-old girl who had a near-death experience in 1986 from a skiing accident. She hit a tree while skiing fast through the woods without a helmet, causing head injury. During transport and at the hospital, she went in and out of consciousness. The fatal event happened during a CAT scan when she reacted anaphylactically to the contrast dye and died for less than three minutes. During the NDE, she left her body and watched the medical team work on it. She rose to a heavenly place with a big tree, surrounded by angels. A comforting male figure sat with her, feeling like Jesus or God. She felt euphoric, light, and loved. She saw the beginning to end of Earth and gained universal knowledge. She returned without choice through the hospital light. After the NDE, Rebecca processed the trauma over 37 years through self-healing. She developed abilities to predict events, see auras, astral project, and sense energies. She became a photographer, musician using cello for healing, and started a STEAM program for neurodiverse kids to build entrepreneurship and self-worth. She now lives happily, sharing her story to inspire others.
“euphoric um you felt real light and like a feather and you felt loved and um it”
The account describes a brief clinical death with out-of-body perceptions of medical resuscitation and being transported down the hill, but lacks any specific, verifiable details about events, conversations, or objects. No attempts at verification are mentioned, and the report is given 37 years later without evidence of prior documentation. Perceptions are vague and consistent with expectations, severely limiting evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
