The Story
Jeff Olson, a father and husband, had a near-death experience after a car accident that killed his wife Tamara and young son Griffin, while he suffered severe injuries including amputation. During the NDE, he met Tamara in an emotional encounter. She cried, hit his chest, and pulled him close while urging him to return to life. His senses felt multiplied, allowing him to taste her tears and feel her emotions deeply. In another experience, he ran to and held Griffin, feeling oneness with him and God. He learned about unconditional love, self-forgiveness, and the question of how much he had learned to love. After the NDE, Jeff recovered miraculously, raised his surviving son Spencer alone at first, then married Tanya who became Spencer's mother. He forgave himself, chose joy over grief, and collaborated with Spencer on a children's book to help others process loss. He now sees divinity in people and strives to love more.
