The Story
Sharon Milleman, an author, had her third near-death experience in November 2016 during emergency surgery for a bowel blockage. She died on the operating table. She left her body and watched doctors work on her. She rose through a rainbow-colored whirlpool to a golden wall surrounding a heavenly city. She played with a beagle puppy and saw a meadow with wildflowers and a garden. Hundreds of people with angels entered the city; she recognized two who died that day. She viewed buildings like a library, a party hall with food and music, a spiritual hospital with healing pools, and a playground for children. In December 2017, her fourth NDE occurred from seizures and medication reaction in the hospital. She floated to a dark void, a holding place, wrapped in a warm black velvet blanket. God held her and told her to rest and not decide hastily. After these experiences, Sharon shares messages of comfort, assuring people that pets go to heaven healthy and young. She emphasizes doing all acts with love and knowing God's constant love.
“all your life and never got to do it do but they asked me do you do you ever get”
The NDE includes a standard OBE during surgery with moderate details but no explicit verification of operating room perceptions. Evidential strength derives from two specific post-NDE verifications: recognizing a deceased acquaintance escorting his father (confirmed by a message reporting the father's same-day death) and describing a brown-and-white beagle puppy matching a neighbor's abused pet revealed by her daughter. Scores are limited by lack of pre-verification reporting, no independent witnesses to prompt accounts, and numerous unverified heavenly details amid few confirmed perceptions.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
