David Rose: PTSD Vet

The Story
David Rose, a Vietnam War veteran and author with PTSD, had a near-death experience one night while sleeping alone at home. He awoke in heaven standing on a path of brilliant, moving light with streaks of purple, maroon, and gold. A guide led him away from a powerful source of love and energy. He felt overwhelming peace, joy, and safety. He saw light-based trees and landscaping, then a group of beings with a massive warrior being projecting love. They entered a transparent structure of light like a building. Rose joined an audience and consumed healing food from light that filled him with warmth and goodness. A being sang in an unknown language, then in English, 'I gave my all for you,' followed by a harmonious choir. Rose felt pulled away, traveled fast through a tunnel of streaking lights, saw the solar system and Earth, and re-entered his freezing body. After the NDE, Rose viewed earthly life as dark and dirty. He documented the experience and found renewed purpose in mentoring veterans, writing books, and public speaking to help others find meaning and reduce suicides.

Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
