Arkie Muratova is a 24-year-old artist and singer-songwriter from Kazakhstan who lives in Australia. Her near-death experience occurred during a time of deep depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts after her mother's death at age 17. She cried out for help to God while on the bathroom floor. In the experience, Arkie found herself in her old apartment. Her mother appeared and hugged her closely like a baby. Arkie felt her mother's warmth and saw the universe and unconditional love in her eyes. A bright light above them filled Arkie with warmth, safety, and healing. She felt lighter and thought she might be in heaven. Her mother reassured her telepathically that everything was okay. Arkie woke up feeling her hand still warm from the hug.
