The Story
The experiencer was a baby when they had their first near-death experience due to not breathing after being home from the hospital. Their mother revived them by smacking their rear. Later, at 2 and a half years old, they nearly drowned in a river. They felt panic but then saw a bright white light that made them feel safe and loved. They sensed a deep connection to this light and heard angelic music. After the experience, they longed to connect with that light again. They began to have prophetic dreams and an imaginary playmate. However, they learned to hide their spiritual experiences, which faded over time. The NDE gave them a sense of peace and a connection to spiritual forces.
