The Story
Gabe Perot, a 21-year-old Bible college graduate and social media ministry leader, had a near-death experience on October 25, 2021. He crashed on his electric skateboard, hit his head, and suffered a traumatic brain injury that put him in a coma for 20 days. During the NDE, Gabe instantly appeared with Jesus in heaven. He saw an outline of God on the throne and felt captivated by Jesus' loving eyes. He experienced vibrant colors brighter than on Earth and unconditional love that accepted him fully. He witnessed prayers from family and friends forming bridges of faith that connected heaven to earth. Gabe knew he had to return to complete his destiny. After waking up fully healed with no pain, Gabe gained a deeper sense of purpose. He became more passionate about his ministry, more intentional with time, and emphasized the power of prayer. He now shares the gospel with greater urgency and wrote a devotional book called Built Different.

This NDE lacks any veridical perception claims, featuring only a direct heavenly encounter with Jesus and symbolic visions like prayer bridges, without descriptions of impossible-to-know earthly details from the hospital or accident. The severe medical crisis provides strong context, but absence of specific, verifiable perceptions limits evidential strength entirely.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
