The Story
Jeffrey Olson experienced a near-death event from a car accident 26 years ago. He dozed off while driving, causing a crash that killed his wife and 14-month-old son and injured him and his 7-year-old son Spencer. During the NDE, Olson felt darkness turn to comforting light and rose above the accident scene without pain. He met his deceased wife, who insisted he return to raise Spencer, and they agreed. He then moved through the hospital, sensing oneness with everyone, knowing their pains and strengths. He viewed his broken body with gratitude and reentered it. Later, in a dream-like state, light took him to a beautiful realm where he held his baby son. A divine presence embraced them, sharing knowledge of unconditional love, no mistakes, divine order, and free will. After the NDE, Olson healed and walked with a prosthetic limb. He raised Spencer, remarried, and adopted two boys. He now sees life as a gift for growth, chooses joy amid challenges, and values love and learning over judgment.
“I knew their love I knew their hate I their challenges I knew them as if they”
The account describes severe injuries and an out-of-body experience in the hospital, but lacks any specific, verifiable perceptual details about events or people observed. No attempts at verification or confirmed elements are mentioned, limiting evidential strength despite the claimed perceptual impossibility.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
