Christine Dorsey: An NDE by Kindergarten

The Story
Christine Dorsey had a near-death experience at age five during surgery for a ruptured appendix. Her appendix burst at home, causing sepsis. During the surgery, she crossed over and saw a field of brilliant tulips under a perfect setting sun. She followed a barefoot man in a white robe down a dirt path between the flowers. They stopped at a glorious tree like the Tree of Life. The man turned, revealing sandy brown hair and green eyes; she later identified him as John the Baptist. He fanned the pages of a thick book and said, 'You two will know this book one day.' They viewed a clear brook with round rocks. She felt calm, safe, and surrounded by perfect love. After 12 days in ICU and 17 in the hospital, Christine felt depressed and did not want to return to life. The experience planted spiritual gifts that later bloomed. She became a certified Reiki Master, energy therapist, meditation teacher, and healer. Her purpose now is to help others with energetic and spiritual healing through her practice.
“good hands like I just knew I just felt there I go into surgery and then I cross”
This NDE features no veridical perception claims, such as out-of-body observations of surgical events or verifiable earthly details; it is a purely subjective heavenly vision. Despite a severe medical crisis (ruptured appendix, sepsis, prolonged ICU stay), the complete absence of any testable perceptions limits evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
