The Story
The experiencer was a woman separated from her abusive husband, hiding with her two young children. The NDE occurred when her husband assaulted her by choking her in her home, cutting off her air supply during a struggle. She fought back but realized she was dying and surrendered, thinking of her children. Darkness came, then a pure brilliant light engulfed her. She had no physical body but existed in a vast nothingness filled with God's presence, in the middle of His Glory. God wrapped her in His love and peace, filling her with His affection. She surrendered completely and wanted to stay, but God told her He had waited for her surrender and sent her back because it was not her time. He returned her to her body and released her husband's grip. Afterward, she felt no fear. She convinced her husband to leave, locked the door, and went into shock. Hospitalized with injuries, she received police protection. Within six months, she divorced, moved, changed names, and hid from him, gaining new physical and spiritual life.
