"I Saw Myself Lying There" | Julia Fischer's Near Death Experience
What Researchers Found
The Story
Miss Fisher was a six-year-old girl in 2003 when she experienced a near-death event. She woke up with a severe headache, collapsed, and was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage. She spent 14 days in intensive care. During the NDE, she felt a layer lift off her body and floated two meters above it. She saw her body with tubes and medical devices beeping. She felt incredibly light, like a feather, with no visible body parts. Everything was silent and in slow motion. She moved toward a door frame filled with bluish-white light of a unique frequency. A voice asked, 'Girl, do you want to go?' She thought of her parents and was pulled back into her body at high speed. After the NDE, she lost her fear of death and gained increased sensitivity to energies and people's true feelings. She developed a strong interest in spiritual topics and began training as a kinesiologist to integrate her experiences.
“are you still afraid of death me no i don't believe at all that we're humans”
This NDE features a medically severe brain hemorrhage with an out-of-body experience from an elevated vantage point, providing moderate evidential base. However, perceptions are vague and predictable (tubes, beeping devices, doctors), with no verification attempts, confirmed details, or timely reporting, severely limiting evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
