The Story
D'vorah Power, a registered nurse, had a near-death experience in December 2013 from severe pneumonia. She got sick on a cruise and was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, where doctors said she might need life support. She was put on CPAP in intensive care. During the NDE, she felt hands touching her body several times but saw no one, later understanding them as prayers from loved ones. She saw three large angels in white robes at her bed's foot, surrounded by more angels in excitement. She lifted out of her body to look over them and saw her deceased mother and sister, who looked youthful, waiting to welcome her. She sensed a dark veil nearby that represented death but felt peace and protection. After the NDE, D'vorah found courage to handle the CPAP and recover. She wrote the book 'Now Is Your Time' to urge people to live in the present, value every moment, practice love and forgiveness, and harness prayer's power for healing.
