The Story
Raymond was a nine-year-old boy in 1966. A martial arts accident caused him to get hit hard in the head. This led to convulsions, his tongue blocking his airway, and he stopped breathing for 12 minutes. During the NDE, Raymond lost consciousness but had no break in awareness. He entered a void and felt disoriented and scared. He thought he was going crazy but let go, which brought peace and bliss. He became a floating sphere of awareness in a perpetual now. He saw a brilliant white light, approached it, and merged with it, feeling infinite love. He reunited with his dog Skippy and communicated telepathically. A masculine being greeted him, shared a download of universal knowledge, and showed him his purpose was to love. He met the Creator as connected points of light, all worshipping in love. He was told to return and did so reluctantly. After returning, Raymond felt pain in his body and remembered the accident. He told his mother and a priest, who called it a trick by Satan. This caused him to suppress the experience for decades, leading to alienation and a shift from Catholicism to fundamentalism. Later, he processed it, lost fear of death, dismantled religious conditioning, and now shares his story worldwide as an artist and speaker to help others, feeling cleansed and purposeful in loving.
“I'd love to I'd love to first of all I there was nothing near about it I mean I”
This NDE features a severe medical crisis with 12 minutes of clinical death, but contains no veridical perception claims whatsoever—no observations of physical events, medical procedures, or details impossible to know via normal senses. The experience is entirely subjective and spiritual (void, light, loved ones, downloads), explicitly lacking common evidential elements like OBE views of the body.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
