The Story
Tonda Napo Cardenas had a near-death experience at age nine. It was caused by severe head trauma from childhood abuse at home. During the NDE, Tonda entered a loving light that enveloped her. The light immersed her in pure love and saved her from despair. It showed her a better existence beyond her pain. After the NDE, Tonda struggled to reconnect with her body. She had frequent out-of-body and spiritual experiences. She turned to nature for healing and became a wild child exploring forests. As an adult, she discovered her indigenous heritage. This led her to create nature-based programs. She founded the nonprofit Red Earth Echo Discoveries to help trauma survivors, veterans, and others through retreats and ceremonies. Tonda now shares her story publicly and teaches about sacred patterns for personal growth.
