The near death experience of David Ditchfield

The Story
David, a young man struggling with dyslexia, low qualifications, and identity issues in London, experienced his NDE when his coat got caught in train doors at a station while seeing off his girlfriend Ana. The train dragged him along the platform and under the carriages, ripping his arm open and causing severe blood loss. Paramedics rushed him to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. There, amid pain and medical efforts, David left his body and entered a comforting dark space with pulsating orbs. He lay on a rock altar, covered in a blue sheet, and gazed into healing white light grids. A familiar androgynous being stood at his feet, while two female forms healed his body and soul, removing years of guilt and shame. He viewed a vast waterfall of stars revealing galaxies and infinity, feeling connected to the universe where time did not exist. A tunnel of intense white light, seen as the source of creation, approached with overwhelming love. David returned to his body. After the NDE, he radiated peace and stopped heavy drinking. He discovered self-love, pursued authentic art by painting his experience, and composed music performed by an orchestra. He now lives in the present, believes in spirit guides and unconditional love, and helps others facing adversity.
“I knew at that moment that my mother had passed because I felt like my guides had put that there to help me feel calm for that drive.”
This NDE contains no veridical perception claims, such as observing real-world events impossible to perceive normally during unconsciousness. The experience is entirely visionary and subjective, with no specific, verifiable details of medical procedures or surroundings reported. Medical trauma was severe but consciousness was not deeply compromised, and prompt reporting occurred but of non-evidential elements.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
