I DIED and Saw How the Universe Works

The Story
A recent college graduate was driving his 1966 Mustang from New Jersey to Syracuse, New York, for summer school. Rain on a dry highway caused his car to fishtail and flip over eight times in an accident. As the car flipped, he sensed he would die and let go of the wheel. He then had a life review, where his entire life from birth to death flashed before him quickly. He survived the crash with only a small scrape on his back and no other injuries. The event sparked his interest in spirituality. He attended Woodstock, joined meditation groups, and overcame his lifelong fear of death. He started practicing mindfulness, yoga, and Kabbalah, leading to out-of-body experiences, visions, and a career in teaching meditation.
“life review. And so my life flashed in front of me. And I could see everything”
This account lacks any veridical perception claims during the purported NDE, as the experiencer remained conscious throughout the car crash and obtained all details (e.g., number of flips) from onlookers afterward. No out-of-body observations, impossible vantage points, or verified paranormal perceptions are described, limiting evidential strength severely.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
