Wendi Powers Pt1

The Story
Wendy Powers, born in the 1970s with autism spectrum disorder, faced bullying, depression, and PTSD in childhood. Her first spiritual experience happened at age three when her grandmother died of a heart attack. The grandmother's glowing spirit lifted Wendy from bed, rocked her, sang 'Rock-a-Bye Baby,' and said she loved her, calling her 'Wendy Bird.' At age five, during a tonsillectomy, anesthesia wore off mid-surgery, causing pain. Wendy left her body and floated over the city. She observed people in houses, sensed their emotions and thoughts, and interacted with a cat, but people could not see her. At age eight, after questioning church teachings and praying to understand God, her senses deadened. She realized all existence is contained within God, represented as a single point of light in a void. Two bright beings then took her in a craft to the City of Light, a beautiful place with crystal buildings, glowing bridges, peaceful people in robes, and recycling energy rivers. The being told her to remember it as how Earth was meant to be. These experiences transformed Wendy. She gained a firm belief in life after death and God's unconditional love. She now creates art through Art of Autism, writes a book to share her story, and finds healing and purpose despite past traumas.
“so full of light and love toward each and there was nothing at all that was”
Exceptional strength due to impossible remote knowledge of grandmother's unexpected death in another state and use of a private unknown nickname during spirit visit, with immediate preemptive report to mother confirmed by her shocked reaction; however, limited by absence of medical crisis in the experiencer.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
