The Story
Jennifer Rucka from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, had a near-death experience in 2005 due to a heart attack. She was an alcoholic who woke up with severe chest pain, tried to drink schnapps but vomited, then felt paralyzed on the couch. She realized she was having a heart attack. A voice said, 'Yeah, and that's all right.' She let go, and everything turned into a white out with no body or surroundings. Two voices, one male and one female, spoke together in a loving way. They told her this was her chance to return or not, focused on her drinking. She felt and saw others' concerns about her addiction. After the white out, she had no desire to drink and became sober. She entered a blissful state with new abilities like sensing people's struggles. She started yoga and meditation. Years later, she understood the voices as divine energies. This led her to a career in perception facilitation, helping clients overcome emotional programs and health issues like autoimmune disorders and cancer. She wrote a book called Soul Center to share tools for self-reflection and healing.
“felt like it had light blowing out of the top of my head and out of my hands”
This NDE lacks any veridical perception claims, featuring only subjective internal experiences like a 'white out,' voices, and emotional insights during a heart attack. No descriptions of observing external events, medical procedures, or verifiable details from an impossible vantage point. The strong medical crisis is undermined by absence of evidential elements across all other criteria.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
