The Story
Stephen Martin was a 25-year-old advertising worker in Baltimore when he had his near-death experience. He suffered from a severe flu and attended a party downstairs despite feeling ill. After drinks, he returned to bed feeling dizzy and spun around. His chest expanded and contracted, then he popped out of his body. He saw the ceiling cracks and his sprawled body below. He realized he was consciousness, not his body. He merged with a cosmic mind, felt love and comfort, and knew things instantly by thinking about them. All was one. He returned to his body and woke up the next morning feeling better. This experience changed him from an agnostic to a spiritual seeker. He joined the Rosicrucian order, studied metaphysics for 50 years, read books on NDEs, hosted a radio show interviewing experts, and became a Christian 15 years ago, focusing on love and service to others.
