The Story
Christine Dorsey was a five-year-old kindergarten student. She suffered a severe stomach ache that worsened overnight. Her appendix burst at home, causing sepsis. Her parents rushed her to Elmhurst General Hospital for emergency surgery. During the procedure, Christine left her body and entered a heavenly realm. She stood in a field of brilliant, vibrating tulips. She followed a barefoot man in a robe down a dirt path under a gentle sun. They reached a magnificent tree. The man turned, smiled with green eyes and a beard, and showed her a thick cloth-covered book. He communicated telepathically, 'You two will know this book one day.' They walked to a stream lined with old rocks, held hands, and gazed at the water. Then she awoke in the hospital. After the NDE, Christine spent 17 days in the hospital, feeling depressed and out of place in the physical world. She developed strong intuition as a child. In adulthood, she pursued wellness, becoming a certified health coach, Reiki master, integrated energy therapist, meditation teacher, tarot reader, and ordained minister. She identified the man as John the Baptist. Now she runs Heliotrope Holistic Healing, where she helps clients release energetic traumas, connect with spirit, and raise their vibration for personal and collective healing.
“important um and I love it it's my life purpose and I'm grateful that I was able”
This NDE features a severe medical crisis with sepsis and extended ICU stay but contains no veridical perception claims of physical events or details during unconsciousness. The experience is entirely visionary/heavenly (tulips, guide figure, tree, book, stream) with no impossible sensory access, verifiable specifics, or attempts at corroboration reported. Primary limiting factor is the complete absence of any testable perceptions from the operative or unconscious period.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
