The Story
Ingri Honla was nearly three years old when she had a near-death experience. She fell into a cold water tank in her home in Bogotá, Colombia, while playing catch with her sister and drowned. Light appeared from below in the dark tank, illuminating bubbles. Silence followed her pounding heartbeat. She saw her body in the water, recognized it, and decided to leave it behind. Ingri instantly traveled to a nearby dog and park, realizing no limits to time or space. She entered a realm of bright light, felt at home, understood she was a being of light, and experienced pure awareness or nothingness. Her mother rescued her and performed CPR, forcing her return to the body. After the NDE, Ingri felt angry and confined in her body. She viewed parents and children as equals, felt disconnected, and sought the silence and peace. She saw beings of light, heard a voice saying names are unnecessary in the light realm and she was never alone. Her mother validated her visions.
