The Story
Claudia Hopper was a young woman in the 1960s facing an abusive family and drug addiction. Her near-death experience occurred due to a heroin overdose while living alone on Fort Hill in Boston. After the NDE, Claudia continued drugs briefly but stopped after a police encounter where she promised to quit. She pursued art studies, traveled to Europe, and built a career as a caregiver for the disabled and elderly while creating art to help others.
