In October 2014, a man thought he had a stomach virus but his appendix was about to rupture. He drove to a local hospital, then transferred to another where doctors performed emergency surgery. He died twice on the operating table during the procedure to remove the ruptured appendix and drain infection. During the NDE, he arrived in a peaceful place with angels in white robes and a brilliant light full of love. He saw green grass, a clear pond, and shining stars. His daughter Sasha, who died at 18 from Dandy-Walker syndrome and could not talk or walk, appeared healthy and playing. She spoke telepathically, saying she loved and missed him. His father, who died in 2006 from a heart attack, appeared smoking a pipe and said he loved him but it was not his time to stay; he had work to do and must return. After the NDE, the man developed more empathy, weaned off many medications, adopted herbs, vitamins, essential oils, and a vegetarian diet. He became open-minded about religions, joined Krishna devotees, and visited the temple regularly.
