The Story
Anthony Sheen, a French filmmaker, had a near-death experience during a medical emergency that caused him to die on the operating table. Doctors called code blue and tried to resuscitate him. Anthony floated out of his body and watched the scene from the ceiling. He felt completely calm and could hear every thought in the heads of people nearby. At first, he did not realize the dead body was his own. Then he understood he had died. Suddenly, his grandmother appeared through one of the body's openings. He recognized her as his mother's mother and said, 'Oh my gosh, I thought you died.' She surrounded him with a powerful love unlike anything on Earth. This love flushed out his inner darkness, sealed it, and made him whole. Everything hidden came to light. Then a force pushed him back into his body. He woke from a three-day coma, brain dead, and asked through his oxygen mask, 'What just happened?' He remembered seeing and hearing everything from above. After this, Anthony changed his life. He started Anthony Sheen Productions to make documentaries and interviews about near-death experiences. He shares these to show people there is no need to fear death. It is real, not a hallucination. He now practices deep meditation and hypnosis to revisit that state. He focuses on living with purpose, helping others, and connecting to God within. He believes life has deep meaning and we are eternal beings learning who we are.
“a nice heaven and everything is is cool you know and so obviously we all want to”
The account describes a severe medical crisis involving clinical death, code blue, and a three-day brain-dead coma, providing strong evidence for compromised brain function. However, veridical claims are limited to a standard out-of-body vantage point with vague details like doctors resuscitating and calling code blue, lacking specificity, independent verification, or pre-verification reporting, which significantly weakens evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
