The Story
Sandy Lynn Taylor, a woman from the Philippines living in Kentucky, had this near-death experience in a dream after a tough year in 2016. Crises included her daughter's seizure, her husband's job loss, a car accident, a miscarriage, and her father's suicide. In the experience, she entered a huge gate where giant angels welcomed her for training. She caught a big fish with their help. A bright father figure, Jesus, carried her on his shoulder through a tsunami of blood, a great waterfall, and walls of ocean. He lifted her from drowning with his gentle light. On the shore, Jesus walked with her and asked when he ever left her. He showed her embracing her through abuses, loneliness, and pains. She saw his deep pain for all suffering people. After the experience, Sandy healed from abandonment and forgave God for feeling left alone. Her crises became blessings: her daughter excelled, her husband got promoted, they got a home and truck, she found comfort in loss, and she continued her father's church work. This strengthened her faith and purpose to share her testimony.
“my God is an awesome God they never we were uh it's like we were uh floating”
This transcript recounts spiritual visions, dreams, and astral projections from childhood to adulthood, but contains no classic NDE involving clinical death or unconsciousness with veridical perceptions of medical events. The sole semi-veridical element—a vision of a 'gold-looking dome' later matched to the Dome of the Rock via a calendar—is vague, not precisely detailed, and unrelated to physical impossibility during crisis, limiting evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
