The Story
Joseph Banks experienced a near-death event in spring 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was working inside an airplane fuel tank when his respirator failed. He collapsed, feeling his body dissolve like sand into blackness. A voice challenged him twice, prompting him to wake up and exit the tank. Later at home, he fell asleep and entered the NDE. During the NDE, Banks arrived in a van at a fantastic place resembling his hometown theater, but with no roof and a beautiful tree under a sunny sky. He saw his deceased great aunt, realizing he had died. A soothing light and palpable music filled the air. He approached a mango tree, waited for a fruit to fall, then met a smiling man. Banks asked to stay, but the man said he must return and touched his chest, jolting him awake after 20 hours. His urine was black, indicating muscle necrosis. After the NDE, Banks had sleep paralysis, prophetic visions of future events like a 2046 destruction in Utah and a 2050 global food shortage, plus a peaceful 2189. He explored past lives, changed his name to J.S. Banks in 2016, gained emotional control, and deepened his spiritual connection to everything. He plans to write a book about his experiences.
