Bruce Van Natta - Saved by Angels

The Story
Bruce Vanatta, a 36-year-old diesel mechanic from Wisconsin, suffered a near-death experience on November 16, 2006, during a work accident. A 10,000-pound steel axle from a logging truck fell on his midsection, crushing his body, severing five major arteries, collapsing his lungs, and stopping his heart. He left his body and floated to the garage ceiling in perfect peace, observing rescuers and first responders below without attachment. He saw two eight-foot angels in shining robes touch his crushed area. A volunteer firefighter, Shannon, called his name and urged him to return three times. Each time, his spirit re-entered his body amid intense pain, then exited again. He entered a tunnel toward a bright light he knew was heaven and Jesus, but heard calls to return and God's whisper to fight hard if he wanted to live. Thinking of his wife and four young children, he chose to stay. After over a year in the hospital with surgeries, coma, and rehab to relearn walking, reading, and writing, Bruce started Sweet Bread Ministries. He shares his story in prisons, schools, and churches to affirm the spiritual realm and lead others to faith in Jesus, supporting orphanages and praying for healings.
“knew that I knew that I knew when I said Jesus if you're real hug me that I had”
Exceptional veridical strength from multiple confirmed OBE perceptions, including identifying 8/10 specific firefighters (including unique red-haired woman and gray-haired man entering back door) from impossible ceiling vantage, verified over a year later at their meeting where they confirmed details like gravel driveway entry; specific clothing and conversations also match. Limited slightly by reporting after full verification and same-room location.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
