Chuck Swederock, a systems programmer, experienced this event in 1985 after learning of his half-brother David's suicide. His consciousness instantly transported to the funeral home. It entered the casket and confronted the gruesome sight of David's headless body, causing his physical body to thrash in terror. A clear male voice then spoke in his mind, saying, 'He's not here.' Chuck returned to his body and felt bliss. After this, he lost his fear of death.
