The Story
Ingrid Honchala, nearly three years old, drowned in a tank of frigid water while playing unsupervised in her family's patio in Bogotá, Colombia. During the NDE, she shifted from terror to profound peace. She saw light illuminating the water from below and experienced deep silence. Bubbles surrounded by light appeared, and she chased them playfully. She observed her suspended body and chose not to return, feeling healthy for the first time. Beautiful flowers bloomed, carrying her in bliss. Out-of-body, she visited the unaware maid, then her mother who sensed danger and rushed home. She traveled instantly to a dog and a park, losing sense of time and space. She entered a bright realm of light, feeling at home, and dissolved into wholeness and pure presence. Reluctantly pulled back, she revived through her mother's CPR. After the NDE, Ingrid felt angry and trapped in her body. She refused food and viewed her parents as equals due to oneness awareness. She gained advanced abilities like reading, math, and painting, saw auras, and connected with beings of light through out-of-body experiences. She struggled to integrate, faced bullying and depression, but later reconnected spiritually, wrote a book, and embraced gratitude and purpose to share messages of connection and eternal being.
