The Story
Leai Barnes Butler was an entrepreneur, cosmetologist, mother, wife, and student who felt exhausted from overwork and family duties. On August 14, 2014, she had a car accident near her home in a rural area. A truck hit her Jaguar while she drove with her two sons, trapping her feet and causing unconsciousness. During the NDE, she found herself in a dark auditorium-like place in the front row. She heard a massive choir singing 'There is no secret what God can do.' She swayed, clapped, and sang with them, feeling deep love, joy, peace, and a sense of home. She had an out-of-body view of herself in the car swaying and singing as rescuers tried to wake her. She felt no pain until re-entering her body during extraction. After the NDE, she suffered multiple fractures in her femur, knees, ankle, hips, and arm, plus a head injury and lost six pints of blood. She stayed peaceful and unafraid, praying before surgery. In recovery, she relearned to walk in a nursing facility and at home with help. She gained psychic abilities to sense spirits, ancestral energies, and illnesses, using them at her husband's restaurant to help grieving people heal and find closure.
