The Story
Steve from Maryland suffered a drop dead heart attack, ischemic stroke, and broke his neck after falling down steps on August 12, 2018. During the NDE, he entered blackness after falling and knew he was dead, but thoughts of his loved one and dogs assured him he would return. He floated above the ambulance with his body inside. In the hospital, he watched the medical team defibrillate him three times and declare him dead. He spoke 'I guess I died' to revive. He traveled through a colorful wormhole tunnel to a light, encountered the Great Council who knew his life fully and loved him unconditionally. He viewed human history, including pyramids being built. In a meadow, he stood with his living loved one in light bodies, saw flowers and a distant castle, and heard unearthly music. After the NDE, Steve gained certainty in soul evolution, lost fear of death, and promotes love and faith. He feels more thankful for life, experiences PTSD but finds centering with NDE communities, and achieved near-miraculous recovery.
“I I think when I got home I felt so poorly that I took a shower and then I”
The account features a severe medical crisis with cardiac arrest and clinical death declaration, alongside moderately specific out-of-body perceptions of staff positions and dialogue in the hospital room, which are somewhat unpredictable. However, the evidential strength is limited by the complete absence of any verification attempts or confirmations of these perceptual details, with only general medical records supporting the physical trauma.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
