The Story
Andrea was a 31-year-old Canadian entrepreneur living in Montreal, Quebec. In December 1991, a car hit her and her husband on a snowy sidewalk after her grandmother's funeral, causing her near-death experience. She left her body and looked down at herself lying in the road, recognizing her red winter coat. People rushed out of the house without coats, creating chaos. She tried to tell them she was fine but they could not hear her. She then entered a gentle tunnel of light without pain. A loving master, like Jesus but without a face, greeted her by name and asked if she wanted to stay or return. Thinking of her three young children, she chose to go back. A fast vortex pulled her into her body. After the NDE, Andrea no longer feared death. It opened her to spirit communication, starting with her grandmother who guided her to start a successful granola business. She raised her children alone, sold the company, and became a sound healing facilitator to help others connect with spirits.
“and that a life without love is no life and that's like i was in the ambulance”
The NDE includes a brief OBE where the experiencer observes her own red coat and people emerging from a house without coats, but these are vague, expected details with no sensory access impossibility beyond the body vantage and no verification attempted. Pre-accident precognitive vision is notable but not part of NDE perceptions; post-NDE mediumship claims are separate. Delayed reporting by 25 years further weakens evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
