He Died in a Motorcycle Accident & Met Jesus!

The Story
James Puga had a near-death experience from a motorcycle accident on September 11, 1999, in Canada. He rode at highway speed, hit raised pavement during construction, and a car pulled out in front of him. He braked hard, crashed, and hit the pavement, cracking his helmet. During the experience, he blacked out and saw a life review in still pictures from birth to the present. He felt a calming sensation where nothing could hurt him. He saw a bright white light above his head and moved through a tunnel to a place of light and love. He saw God and Jesus, with Jesus at God's right hand. He asked for a second chance several times and was sent back into his body. After the NDE, James had no broken bones or brain damage and walked out of the hospital the same night. His relationship with Jesus grew stronger. He now shares his story to help others with heartache and healing, encourages daily confession of sins, and tells people about Jesus.
“uh so god sent you back for a purpose and what do you feel that purpose is and”
This NDE lacks any veridical perception claims, featuring only standard subjective elements like a tunnel, light, life review, and visions of God and Jesus, with no impossible-to-access details or verifications. The severe crash suggests deep unconsciousness, but without corresponding perceptual evidence from that state, evidential strength is minimal. Post-event learnings (e.g., cop yelling) were not perceived during the NDE.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
