The Story
A 21-year-old woman from Finland, who had been physically abused by her boyfriend for years and developed stomach cancer from stress, experienced her NDE after he strangled and bit her one night, causing her heart to stop for 20 minutes. She left her body and stood by the wall, watching doctors revive her lifeless form as the heart monitor flatlined. She felt deep peace and could hear and see everything in the hospital and outside with a 360-degree view. Her deceased grandparents appeared, filling her with joy, and told her she could choose to stay or return. She learned her cancer came from buried fear and anxiety, and it would heal if she went back. She understood life as a playground for joy and choices that expand the universe. After 20 minutes, she chose to return to accomplish more. Her cancer vanished, shocking doctors. The first year was hard as she felt overwhelming emotions and others' feelings intensely, but she adjusted. She moved to the United States, built a successful career as an Oscar- and Emmy-nominated makeup artist in film, raised two wonderful sons, and now shares her story to inspire joy and love in others.
“me from behind I've never felt such joy and love I was so excited to see them to”
The transcript features a compelling OBE claim during a child's near-drowning with clinical death (~10 minutes), describing specific impossible perceptions from an underwater fetal position to an aerial view, including distant family members' locations and actions beyond a privacy fence. However, evidential strength is limited by the complete absence of any self-reported verification attempts, confirmed veridical elements, or details on reporting timing.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
