The Story
Sharon Lond, a healer and AIDS educator, had her second near-death experience in the late 1990s while hospitalized in Utah. Her body shut down from AIDS complications like pneumonia and infections after years of illness. Her spirit lifted out of her body and hovered above it. Two translucent spirit beings, one male and one female, approached her. They showed a life review from a bird's eye view. She saw herself helping gay men with AIDS in Los Angeles and teaching in Russia and other places. The beings pointed out the positive differences she made in lives. She entered a tunnel of light and saw gray outlined beings outside trying to enter. She merged with the Infinite Light of God and felt immense love and peace. She relived her pregnancy, birth, and life moments with her daughter. God gave her a choice to stay or return. She chose to return for her daughter. Back in her body, her cells energized, and she regained strength and color. She got out of bed that day. After the NDE, Sharon recovered her health to non-detectable levels. She continued AIDS advocacy in Hawaii, joined boards to end the epidemic by 2030, wrote three books on healing and death, and produced a documentary called 'Dying to Live.' She works to break silence about death and restore its sacredness.
