Gary Wimmer was a young man with developing psychic abilities when he was struck by a speeding car as a pedestrian on February 7, 1977. Before the accident, he saw seven white-robed beings called monitors who appeared around a crystal table and asked if he trusted them for protection. After the impact, he left his body and felt a Big Bang explosion. He expanded like a balloon in all directions, viewing Earth and the universe from everywhere at once as galaxies entered him. He traveled through a vast tunnel of infinite universes into an infinite blue space, the mind of God, where he experienced timeless oneness and infinite creation. He returned to his body from all directions. After the NDE, his psychic powers strengthened, and he learned to interpret personal symbolism for readings. He developed lithomancy using stones, wrote a book about his experience, and gained visions of future events, promoting spiritual curiosity and global awakening.
