The Story
Philip Siracusa, a 14-year-old boy from Staten Island, New York, had a near-death experience in 1981 during a routine dentist visit. He suffered an allergic reaction to nitrous oxide, which stopped his breathing and led to hospitalization. During the experience, Philip levitated out of his body and watched the scene from the ceiling. He floated through the ceiling into the sky and entered a dark tunnel, moving fast toward a light. He emerged into a peaceful sky, passed through gates, and entered a perfect garden and infinite fields where everything felt alive. An angelic girl led him to a park where he met his deceased grandparents. His grandmother told him to go back because it was not his time. He was pulled back through the tunnel to his body in the hospital. After the NDE, Philip initially thought it was a dream but later saw the angelic girl again, confirming it. Now at 57, he shares his story to help others, lives fearlessly, appreciates simple things, and teaches about the afterlife and manifestation to support people facing challenges.
“and I love it because I'm back home that point and I'm pulled into a garden now”
The NDE features standard out-of-body perceptions of expected personnel (mom, dentist, assistant) in the immediate vicinity with no specific, verifiable details provided. No attempts at verification or confirmations of any perceptions are described, limiting evidential strength despite moderate medical compromise and OBE vantage.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
