The Story
BW Melvin, an atheist in 1980, drank contaminated water and contracted cholera, dysentery, and a neurotoxin. He dehydrated quickly and died. During his NDE, he left his body and floated above it. He passed through the ceiling into a dark void and moved toward a brilliant light. He experienced a life review and felt judged by God for his sins and excuses. Jesus appeared and sent him to a hellish pit. There, demons surrounded him with false welcomes. He toured cells where people suffered nightmares based on their lives, including figures like Adolf Hitler reaping what they sowed. He saw occult influences and demonic entities affecting the world. Calling on Jesus, he was rescued when Jesus picked him up. He briefly saw outer darkness and future global breakdowns. After returning, Melvin became a Christian. He wrote a book to warn others about hell and studies biblical prophecy to share God's grace.

The account describes a brief out-of-body experience with specific details like an alarm clock time and a hidden ceiling fingerprint observed from an impossible vantage point during claimed clinical death. However, the complete absence of any described verification efforts, confirmed perceptions, or documented timely reporting severely limits evidential strength.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
