The Near Death Experiences of Ms. Sabine Amrhein

The Story
Sabine experienced her first near-death experience in 2011 while seeking deeper spirituality. She had returned to her Christian faith but struggled with certain doctrines. One evening, after an expansion of consciousness from reading spiritual texts, she sat in bed holding her Bible, feeling scared. Darkness surrounded her, and she saw a distant light. She entered a tunnel moving toward the light, emerging into a large hall with arched windows showing a blue sky and intense colors. The light filled the hall with love and warmth. A telepathic voice told her she was on the right path and would receive a new name. She questioned this and was pulled back through the tunnel into her body. Afterward, her consciousness expanded further, leading to clairvoyance, clairsentience, and intrusive dark thoughts she combated with prayer. A later negative NDE intensified these abilities, causing distress and illness. Over years, she underwent a life review, forgave others, sought forgiveness through thousands of letters, and had an out-of-body experience. Her clairvoyance and clairaudience faded, leaving clairsentience. She became more forgiving, reduced prejudices, and views past adversities as blessings, adopting a positive approach to life.

The account features one moderately specific veridical claim of observing the daughter entering and using the bathroom downstairs during an out-of-body experience from an upstairs nap, vaguely verified later as occurring at the exact time. Evidential strength is limited by the absence of medical crisis, lack of detailed verification method or confirmation of specific actions, single claim amid many unverified spiritual perceptions, and no prompt report to witnesses.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
