The Place Between Here and There | An In-Depth Interview with Stephen Weber

The Story
Steve Webber was a computer technician and stay-at-home dad who loved motorcycles. In 2015, a truck broadsided his Harley-Davidson during a traffic detour, causing severe injuries including a broken spine, shattered hip, internal bleeding, and compartment syndrome. This led to a three-week coma and his near-death experience. During the NDE, Steve left his body and watched himself being airlifted by helicopter from outside. He entered a spiritual realm where he solved computer problems, saw acquaintances in various forms to learn about spirits, sensed spirit in everything, and realized all spirits connect as one with the creator. He underwent multiple life reviews, viewing his life multidimensionally to learn lessons and feel bliss. He faced a test teaching young spirits, failing at first but succeeding by seeing them as spirits and learning from failure. Finally, he watched sunsets with two friends, who were his spirit guides ensuring his well-being, before returning. After waking, Steve initially denied the experience as drug-induced. A year later, his son's overdose death prompted acceptance through synchronicities and prayers, healing his grief. He now embraces spirituality, fears no death, lives fully with purpose, mentors on ethics, and co-authored a book sharing his insights.
“knew knew like in the real life like i met that other person i knew years ago”
The account features a potential OBE during helicopter transport with an impossible vantage point outside the aircraft, but lacks specific, verifiable details, independent confirmation, and prompt pre-verification reporting. Other elements like sensing remote prayers were disconfirmed for physical presence and remain vague. The experience is predominantly spiritual/internal with no corroborated veridical perceptions of earthly events.
Score reflects verifiable perceptions reported. A low score indicates the experience was primarily spiritual or subjective, not that it didn't occur.
Score reflects transformation as described. Domains scored 0 indicate the topic was not discussed, not that no change occurred.
Are you here because someone you love has died?
These accounts were gathered because death may not be the end. Thousands of people have experienced something beyond — and come back to tell us about it.
