Barbara Mango: Consciousness of Everything

Barbara Mango, a metaphysics researcher, had this experience while recovering from spinal surgery. She was in pain and dealing with her mother's assisted living placement. A friend put her into a light hypnotic state via Zoom to relax her. During the session, her body felt extremely light, and she lifted out of it. She entered a tunnel with a bright light at the end and saw herself traveling through it. She emerged in a beautiful natural setting with a clear blue sky and shiny lake. Everything looked heightened. She waited and saw large light beings approach. One had her grandmother's face, who pushed forward another being that grew to fill the sky, revealing her deceased father's face in his prime. He opened his arms, and they embraced across the distance with profound, indescribable love. He non-verbally expressed love and thanks for waiting. The embrace faded, and she returned to her body crying. This transformative event led her to hear her father's voice weeks later, urging her to work in hospice. She became a certified death doula to provide compassionate care to dying people and their families, finding her life's mission.
