The Story
The experiencer was hospitalized for a seizure and had an adverse reaction to medication, which caused them to stop breathing. During the NDE, they felt their spirit rise out of their body and entered a warm, dark space, cocooned in a velvet-like blanket. They sensed a loving presence, believed to be God, and felt safe and peaceful while surrounded by stars. Suddenly, they were pulled back into their body, waking up in a noisy hospital room. After the NDE, the experiencer felt less fear of the void and understood that God was with them. They also found comfort in knowing that their soul had a chance to rest during the experience, helping them cope with feelings of depression and overwhelm.
